What is philosophical counseling?

Philosophical counselors are academically trained philosophers who utilize their philosophical knowledge and skills to help guide their clients through life. Philosophical counseling can be understood as a process of aiding the birth of human thought by analyzing the patterns of life using the Socratic method, with the goal being that each individual be assisted along the path to their authentic existence of being a true, good, and beautiful human being.

How is philosophical counseling practiced at Holland & Company?

At Holland & Company, clients are seen for 50-minute sessions at $50 per session, either in-person or remotely, on a weekly or biweekly basis.

All in-person sessions are held at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art located at 600 Museum Way in Bentonville, Arkansas.
